Meihu - the NPES demo and training center - is the first in China to offer extensive training services to printing professionals. Today it continues to be unique and the most active training provider with basic training programs, customized programs, long-term and short-term degree programs and an on-line E-training program. It receives training requests not only from China, but also from India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Mongolia, Russia, Vietnam, and Korea. Its innovative programs bring world standards and practical results to companies and individuals that need to be updated on current technologies, preparation before purchasing new equipment, learning the printing trade, business management, and technical skills in all phases of the printing production environment.

Regular Courses
Over 800 people have been trained in Meihu's regular training program since 1997. The program offers a variety of courses for printing and publishing professionals in China. The courses cover all current technologies in printing including DTP software, prepress, press and postpress, printing quality control, flexography, web offset printing, and printing materials and supplies.

Customized Courses
Meihu was the first to offer customized courses that are tailor-made to each printing related company's needs in China. With great understanding of their customers' needs, Meihu's training professionals have designed courses that all participants have benefited from. Meihu has completed customized trainings for a number of international enterprises and organizations, including Shanghai Municipal Economics Commission, Gold East Paper Co., Ltd., Tetra Pak, Dow Chemical, DIC Ink Co., Ltd., Shanghai Daheng Technology Co., Ltd, Shanghai Donnelley Printing Co., Ltd., Heidelberg China Limited, etc.

Business Training Courses
The rapid development of China's market economy has put pressure on its printing industry. Demand for training in printing business management, trade, export/import, and printing e-commerce is on the rise. Meihu understands the need and has designed training courses that specifically focus on talent development and that bring knowledge and experience to its trainees with international business-management standards.

Online Training
Meihu has designated the very best online printing training program available today. Olle is the program designed by IO Technologies and offered jointly with the Graphic Communication Institute at California Polytechnic State University to all printing professionals by Meihu and the NPES China E-commerce office. It has over 600 registered trainees currently taking these courses in China.

Long-Term and Short-Term Degree Programs
Meihu also organizes and manages ongoing Bachelor and Master Degree programs in printing to professionals throughout China in cooperation with Wuhan University. At the end of 2005, a total of 181 trainees had graduated from those degree programs. In addition to benefiting from their studies, many received job offers in more desirable positions.
